Jayanthi Srinivasiah, MD
Medical Oncologist and Hematologist @Georgia Cancer Specialists
Dr. Jay is a board-certified physician in medical oncology and hematology with more than 2 decades of experience. She is actively involved in the field of research, hereditary cancers and genetics, breast cancers, and participates in multiple hospital leadership committees, national, and international tumor boards and serves as a principal investigator for clinical trials. Dr. Jay has been honored numerous times as a Top Doctor in Atlanta Magazine, Atlanta Women, M.D. news, as well as other publications. She coordinates a genetics symposium for physicians and other health care providers and is passionate about taking care of all malignancies, solid tumors, hematologic malignancies. Her special interests include care of breast cancer patients, including genetics, genomics, and new drugs and clinical trials.
Razelle Kurzrock, MD
Chief Medical Officer @WIN Consortium for Personalized Cancer Therapy
Razelle Kurzrock, MD is a world-renowned physician-scientist leader in Precision Medicine as well as the development of novel therapeutics in the field of oncology. She is recognized for founding, developing and chairing one of the largest Phase 1 clinical trial departments globally while at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is also one of the pioneer trialists of the WINTHER precision medicine trial focusing, for the first time, on transcriptomics in addition to genomics. This trial was the signature study of the WIN international consortium (Nature Medicine). The consortium is a non-profit group focused on the global delivery of precision medicine, with member academic institutions and other key stakeholders across the world. Dr Kurzrock has over 850 publications on Pubmed, an H-index of 125, and has been named to the list of most cited scientists worldwide and to the list of the 25 most important voices in Precision Medicine across the globe.
Hatim Husain, MD
Associate Professor of Medicine @UC San Diego Health
Dr. Husain is a board-certified medical oncologist who specializes in treating lung cancer and brain tumors. In addition to instructing medical students, residents and fellows, he is also a physician-scientist dedicated to understanding the cancer genome and how to advance meaningful, precision-oriented therapies for patients. Dr. Husain has developed a translational research focus and collaborates with scientists to bring discoveries from bench-to-bedside. His efforts include expanding tools for tracking cancer growth specifically through circulating tumor DNA analyses; understanding the mechanisms of cancer formation in non-smoking patients; and investigating how the genome can provide clues to optimal treatments and new therapies. He completed a fellowship in medical oncology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and a residency in internal medicine at Keck School of Medicine of USC. Dr. Husain earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
